Miller Howard (GA5 Alum) Chosen for Cougar Invite All-Tournament Team

September 17, 2014 - COLUMBUS, Ga. – Georgia College sophomore outside hitter Miller Howard (Suwanee), and freshman setter Mollie Michel (Peachtree City) have been named to the CSU Cougar Invitational All-Tournament Team, announced Monday afternoon by Columbus State University staff.  

Howard powered the Bobcat offense this weekend, putting down 32 total kills with six digs and four blocks. Her best effort came in the win over Mars Hill University, tallying 15 kills with a .324 hitting percentage, four digs and three blocks.
Michel has been the starting setter for the Bobcats all season long. She finished the tournament with a pair of double-doubles, including 33 assists and 10 digs in the loss to the University of Montevallo Friday. She finished the three matches with 105 assists and 30 digs.
The Bobcats will take on Flagler College Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m., Georgia College's home opener.
