The Advanced Setter Camp Level II/III will review and reinforce footwork and hand contact coupled with advanced movement and combination work relative to setting.
To attend this camp, you must have participated in Setter Camp I or received a recommendation from an A5G Master Coach or Director. Recommended for ages 14U-18U. . Athletes are expected to have knowledge of running an offensive and be able to make all basic sets.
Players will be introduced to offensive strategies. The primary focus will be on jump setting, location of all sets, tempo setting (fast attack), reversing the flow, out of system setting, defense and serving. Athletes will receive a high level of repetitions and continuous movement.
*All summer camps and clinics will include internal tryout evaluations. Tryouts for A5 Gwinnett will be the second week of July for all age groups.
Note: Both male and female athletes are welcome at our camps and clinics! However, If there are not enough males signed up to form their own training group, they will be incorporated into the female groups with similar skill level.
**Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be available for participants up to 48 hours from the date of the event. Within 48 hours, a 50% fee will be applied. No refund will be available once the event has begun.
