The Middle School Hitting and Passing workshop is designed to help athletes develop a better understanding of the skills required to play as an outside, opposite, or the middle attacker position(s). The workshop will primarily focus, on footwork, hand-ball control, armswing mechanics, and serve receive pass to attack patterns. Athletes will also get a better understanding of attacking range and different shots that are common in volleyball.
The Summer Volleyball Workshops hosted by A5 Gwinnett Volleyball are a series of 5 hour mini camps designed to work on specific positions and will be lead by experienced coaches from within our A5 organization. Training will be high repetition and athletes will be grouped according to current skill level.
Middle School workshops are for those players in Middle School 6th to 8th grade.
These camps are for players fairly new to volleyball to elite players that are playing on a high level club team
This camp is not for "Hitters" only. We encourage all athletes to develop in all skills needed for volleyball.
